Two-level additive Schwarz preconditioners for nonsymmetric, indefinite elliptic boundary value problems discretized by means of \(P1\) nonconforming finite elements are developed. The preconditioners are applied within the GMRES method. It is shown that the convergence rate is independent of the number of degrees of freedom and the number of local problems if the coarse mesh is fine enough.
