Let \(G\) be a semisimple Lie group of Hermitian type, and let \(\rho: G \to Sp(n, \mathbb R)\) be a homomorphism of Lie groups. In this paper, the author constructs generalized Jacobi forms associated to the homomorphism \(\rho\) and proves that such Jacobi forms can be identified with sections of certain torus bundles over families of abelian varieties parametrized by a locally symmetric space.
