    The author establishes criteria for the nonexistence of eventually positive (negative) and monotonely decreasing (increasing) solutions of the partial difference inequality: \[ \begin{multlined} \Delta_m \Delta_n y(m,n)+ \sum_{i=1}^\tau P_i(m,n,y(g_i(m), h_i(n)))\geq\\ \sum_{i=1}^\tau Q_i(m,n,y(g_i(m), h_i(n))), \quad m\geq m_0,\;n\geq n_0,\end{multlined} \] where \(q_i(m)\) and \(h_i(n)\), \(1\leq i\leq \tau\) are some deviating arguments. Several examples are presented.
