We show that, if 0 is in the resolvent set of one of the operators of a regular pair considered by Grisvard and by Da Prato and Grisvard, the pair is also \(\lambda\)-regular. We exhibit a regular pair of positive operators in a Hilbert space, which is not \(\lambda\)-regular.
