The authors consider the orthosymplectic Lie superalgebra \(\mathrm{osp}(1,4)\) and two algebras obtained from it via contraction (deformation). They construct the quadratic and quartic Casimir elements of \(\mathrm{osp}(1,4)\) and obtain the corresponding Casimir elements of the contracted algebras.
