Isometrische kubische Bézierkurvensegmente. (Isometric cubic Bézier curve segments) (Q1173714)

The author gives necessary and sufficient conditions for the isometric deformation of a cubic curve segment (called `` Bézier curve segment'') to another such segment in \(\mathbb{R}^ 2\) or \(\mathbb{R}^ 3\), conditions for the existence and uniqueness of a parametric Bézier curve segment to which a given one can be isometrically deformed, with special emphasis on the case when one of the segments is a line segment. The results should be useful for CAGD (Computer Aided Geometric Design).
