In the paper \(E\)-capacity upper and lower bounds for an arbitrarily varying channel with states sequences known to the encoder and unknown to the decoder are calculated. The \(E\)-capacity of an arbitrarily varying channel is defined as in [\textit{E.A. Arutyunyan} and the author, ibid. 17, No. 2, 99-105 (1988; Zbl 0646.94008)]. The bounds are obtained using standard information theory methods.
