Asymptotics of eigencurves for second order ordinary differential equations. II (Q1174304)

[For part I see ibid. 88, No. 1, 30-45 (1990; Zbl 0723.34073).] The authors continue the investigation begun in an earlier paper into the asymptotics of a regular two parameter Sturm-Liouville problem on a compact interval subject to selfadjoint bounding conditions. In the first paper they discussed existence of ``asymptotic directions'' of the eigencurves and related asymptotic developments. Here they discuss existence of eigencurve ``asymptotes'' and asymptotic developments related to them.
