The author determines the left cells and two-sided cells for the Weyl group of type \(F_ 4\) using some data of the Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomials. There are 72 left cells and 9 two-sided cells. Also, he describes the natural \(W\)-graph corresponding to each left cell and discusses some relations between the Duflo involutions and the conjugate classes in the Weyl group of type \(F_ 4\).
