Locally connected functions and optimality (Q1176008)

The authors continue the investigation of diverse types of real-valued functions defined on locally connected subsets of the space \({\mathbb{R}}^ n\) which they started jointly with \textit{S. Kaur} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 134, No. 1, 30-45 (1988; Zbl 0666.26009)]. In the present paper they study these functions as well as nonlinear programming problems involving them by using the concept of right differentiability of a function with respect to an arc.
