The authors propose two variants of the first author's modification for the approximate solution of second kind Fredholm integral equations [Bull. Aust. Math. Soc. 36, 485-492 (1987; Zbl 0627.65068); Corrigendum: ibid. 40, No. 3, 487 (1989; Zbl 0688.65039)] and establish conditions under which they are superconvergent.
