The author investigates 1-cohomology groups of \(SL(n,p^ s)\) with coefficients in a truncated polynomial ring over an extension field. In the present paper, \(p>2\) and \(n>2\) since the other cases had been studied already by others. The answer is 0 except when \(p=3\) where one gets at most a 1-dimensional vector space over the extension field.
