Galois triple covers of surfaces (Q1180032)

The author studies the structure of \(\mathbb{Z}/3\)-covers of smooth algebraic surfaces. In particular he gives an explicit method of resolution of the singularities of such a cover, analogous to the standard resolution of singularities of double covers. Similar computations for a general abelian cover can be found in the reviewer's paper in J. Reine Angew. Math. 417, 191-213 (1991; Zbl 0721.14009).
