\textit{J. E. Roemer} [ibid. 22, 451-464 (1980; Zbl 0432.90021)] defined the concept of indecomposability of a von Neumann model and stated that every indecomposable model is irreducible according to Gale's criteria. It is proved that this statement is mistaken, although this fact does not affect the results obtained by Roemer on Okishio's Theorem. Nevertheless, this discovery opens new doors to research, based on a new definition of indecomposability. For example, it is possible to define with no problems basic commodities and basic processes in joint production.
