Order estimates of the best approximations by polynomials constructed with respect to hyperbolic crosses on the classes of periodic functions of several variables \(B^ r_{p,\theta}\) are obtained. The order of the Kolmogorov width on these classes in the space \(L_ q\), \(1<p \leq q \leq 2\), is found.
