Accuracy of a spectral interpolation method is studied on sampled pseudoperiodic signals. Its error is expressed in terms of contribution of the remaining components. A mechanism of reducing the error is clarified by using the peak of spectrum for which three consecutive values are used. The noise effect and the proximity effect are analyzed. The efficiency of the spectral interpolation is compared with a time domain method.
