Among numerous works on theoretical studies of geophysical fluids, H. Ertel has obtained a series of conservation theorems in following the motion of perfect rotating fluids. By investigating successively these invariance relationships in chronological order, we propose to show that there exists a filiation between these theorems, and also a general identity which implicitly contains them.
