Generalized André planes of order \(p^ t\) that admit a homology group of order \((p^ t-1)/2\) (Q1184497)

The second author [Simon Stevin, to appear] discovered that the resolutions of a finite Minkowski plane due to Bonisoli give rise to translation planes of the type described in the title. The authors of the present article show that such translation planes are closely tied to regular nearfield planes, and they describe completely the components of such a plane.
