The author calls a \((k,n)\)-arc \(K\) in a projective plane enclosed if each point of \(K\) is on an \(n\)-secant and if any two \(n\)-secants intersect in a point of \(K\). He completely determines all enclosed \((n,k)\)-arcs of \(PG(2,q)\) which have at least two points which are on exactly \(n\) \(n\)- secants. A simple example is provided by a Baer subplane of \(PG(2,q^ 2)\) which is an enclosed \((q^ 2+q+1,q+1)\text{-arc}\).
