The authors introduce a multiple variable analogue of Gould and Hopper polynomials [\textit{H. W. Gould} and \textit{A. T. Hopper}, Duke Math. J. 29, 51--63 (1962; Zbl 0108.06504)] by means of a Rodrigues type formula and obtain its generating relation and an explicit representation.
