On infinite summation formulae (Q1184918)

With a view to generalizing the work of the reviewer [J. Austr. Math. Soc., Ser. A 43, 187-198 (1987; Zbl 0596.33006)], the authors establish a number of finite summation formulas involving Fox's \(H\)-function and the generalized Kampé de Fériet function in several variables. They also deduce some interesting special cases involving simpler hypergeometric polynomials. Their results are much too involved to be reproduced here.
