It is well known that a solid may not be uniquely recoverable from two of its orthographic projections (in the presence of multiple vertices). On the drawing board, the problem is usually very minor but for the computer it represents a major difficulty. The authors present a combinatorial/artificial intelligence computer procedure that works for solids bounded by surface patches of degree \(\leq 2\).
