The paper discusses properties of Durand-Kerner methods for approximating multiple zeros of complex polynomials. It is shown that the Durand-Kerner mapping is contractive and for an \(m\)-fold zero of the polynomial, \(m\) components of the iteration sequences converge to the exact value in its neighborhood with same speeds.
