On an axiomatic basis the author analysis first how the assumption of specific fuzzy preferences bear on equilibria of classical and newly defined economic systems. He proceeds in three steps: In the first chapter of his book, he presents specific kinds of fuzzy individual preferences and in a second chapter, he investigates their repercussions on aggregation procedures in the sense of group decision making or welfare economics, in the third chapter he focusses his attention on fuzzy cooperative and non-cooperative games. In both, the fourth and the fifth chapter, he applies the results of the three preceding chapters to the analysis of equilibria in a specific market model.
