This book consists of two sections. The first section ``Real analysis'' is a revised and enlarged version of the earlier book Problems in analysis. The second section ``Complex analysis'' contains problems distributed among many of the principal topics in the theory of functions of a complex variable. The book contains 878 problems and their solutions. The problems in the book cover, in real analysis: set algebra, measure and topology, real- and complex-valued functions, topological vector spaces; and in complex analysis: polynomials and power series, functions holomorphic in a region, entire functions, analytic continuation, singularities, harmonic functions, families of functions, convexity theorems. The aim of the problems is to sharpen and deepen the understanding of the mechanisms that underlie modern analysis. So classroom instructors, students and other interested mathematicians can use this problem collection for practice.
