An integral representation of the solution of linear homogeneous isotropic elastostatics for an infinite space, in which the displacement and traction jumps are prescribed over a domain of the plane \(z=0\), is used to analyse behaviour of discontinuities in the neighbourhood of a thin rigid wedge inclusion laying on the plane. The analysis is based on reduction of the associated integral equation for an unknown jump density to a linear nonhomogeneous infinite system of algebraic equations for two unknown real-valued sequences of constants.
