The main result of the present paper is as follows: Suppose \(M\) is a complete spacelike hypersurface with constant mean curvature in Minkowski space \(R_ 1^{n+1}\). If the image under the Gauss map \(\gamma: M\to H^ n(-1)\) is bounded, then \(M\) has to be a linear subspace.
