For the equation \(L(x(t)+kx(h(t)))+f(t,x(g(t)))=0\), \(L(u(t))=(d/dt)((1/p(t))(d/dt)u(y))\) a classification of nonoscillatory solutions is performed and conditions are stated for existence of nonoscillatory solutions of corresponding types. Conditions are given also for nonexistence of nonoscillatory solutions.
