Holomorphic mappings from the unit disk to algebraic varieties (Q1191269)

Nevanlinna's second main theorem concerning meromorphic functions in the plane \(\mathbb{C}\) has been extended to holomorphic maps from \(\mathbb{C}\) into the complex projective space \(P^ n(\mathbb{C})\) and to holomorphic maps from \(\mathbb{C}\) into algebraic varieties. Nevanlinna also established his theorem for functions meromorphic in a disk of finite radius. In this paper, a version of the second main theorem is established for holomorphic maps from a disk into an algebraic variety.
