Let \(X\) be an arbitrary set, \(L_ 1\) and \(L_ 2\) any two lattices on \(X\) such that \(L_ 1\subset L_ 2\). Various types of lattice separation are presented and necessary and/or sufficient conditions for \(L_ 1\) to separate (semiseparate, coseparate) \(L_ 2\) in terms of certain outer measures are given.
