The theory of the spectral analysis of the two-dimensional generalized Hilbert transforms is developed using Masani's instead of Wiener's generalized Fourier transform. The results are generalizations of Masani's results in the one-dimensional case (under restricted limit conditions). They were partly reported earlier [Mem. Keio Shiki High Sch. 18, 72-78 (1988)].
