Singular perturbation of boundary value problems for second order nonlinear ordinary differential equations on infinite interval. II (Q1192690)

This is the continuation of author's previous paper on the same subject [Appl. Math. Mech., Engl. Ed. 10, No. 1, 45-54 (1989; Zbl 0741.34036)]. In this paper the author considers the singularly perturbed boundary value problems on an infinite interval for nonlinear second order ordinary differential equation in case the limits of their upper and lower solutions are equal as \(x\to\infty\), which had not been considered in his previous paper. The existence and asymptotic estimate of solutions are studied, and also the case with stationary degenerate solutions is examined.
