Linear independence of the translates of an exponential box spline (Q1193067)

The author investigates the space of entire functions which is spanned by the integer translates of complex exponential box splines. A necessary and sufficient condition for the local linear independence of these translates is given. Furthermore, a Marsden-type identity for exponential box splines is established. Since the paper under consideration was submitted to the editor already in 1986, i.e. about 6 years before publication, there is some overlapping with other publications which have appeared in the meantime.
