The paper considers discrete time versions of the Crow reliability growth model [see \textit{L. H. Crow}, Technometrics 24, 67-72 (1982; Zbl 0519.62087)] based on a non-homogeneous Poisson process with Weibull intensity function. Earlier results available in the literature are extended to the case of possibly unequal number of trials per equipment configuration. The author investigates the statistics of such models in terms of large sample estimators and confidence intervals for the underlying parameters and the reliability of the configuration which was tested last.
