Given a group, the author considers the ring of formal power series with coefficients in Burnside rings. It is possible to exponentiate the power series without constant terms. The exponentiation has the usual properties. Then composition is introduced which allows one to define the logarithm. This is applied to Steinberg modules of wreath products. Symmetric groups are considered as examples.
