A very general approach to irregular sampling of band-limited functions is introduced. This method is based on the approximation and factorization of convolution operators. It is valid to the study of a very general function space, including the weighted \(L^ p_ w\)-spaces, in any dimensions, and it provides the correct behavior of the coefficients. Among the main features is stability, with respect to both input and aliasing errors.
