An existence theorem in nonlinear thermoelasticity connected with weak homothermal waves (Q1197592)

The existence theorem of classical nonlinear dynamic coupled thermoelasticity for a three-dimensional displacement-temperature initial-boundary value problem is formulated without proof. The theorem is a complementary one to the results on existence in nonlinear dynamic thermoelasticity by the same author [Arch. Mech. 39, No. 6, 605-617 (1987; Zbl 0682.73004)]. The reviewer notes a number of misprints: e.g. 1. The sign on RHS of the formula for tensor \(B_{\alpha q}\) (page 330) is wrong. 2. The strain-rate term in the coupled energy equation (p. 330) is missing.
