This is the second part of a paper where the small planar oscillations of a rigid symmetrical vessel containing an ideal fluid are investigated. In the first part [see the foregoing entry]the author established the equations of motion, which are reduced now to a functional equation in a suitable Hilbert space. It is proved, under some conditions, the existence of eigenfrequencies of the vessel-liquid system and it is shown that they can be analytically determined.
