This paper introduces a special reference frame for a system of particles, named as the minimal moving mass (MMM) space-time reference system and defined to be the reference frame in which the total moving mass of the system is minimal. This minimal moving mass is proved to be Lorentz invariant, and some applications of the MMM reference system are made.
