Eigenstructure assignment problem (Q1200065)

This paper is devoted to the problem of eigenvalue assignment by state feedback of linear multivariable time-invariant systems. The authors study the problem by polynomial matrix theory. The study is based on three of the four reference papers, but these are written in Chinese. The state equations of the system considered are given in the Jordan canonical form, within the important Jordan blocks. Two necessary conditions are derived for controllability of systems with multiple eigenvalues.
