L'article traite, en résumé, de la question suivante posée dans A. Besse: La 8-forme fondamentale sur le plan projectif des octaves de Cayley \(\mathbb{C} aP^ 2\) fournit-elle un générateur pour l'anneau de cohomologie entière? La réponse est affirmative. Notons que ce problème a déjà été résolu dans un article très complet et détaillé par \textit{C. Brada} et \textit{F. Pecaut- Tison} [Geom. Dedicata 23, 131-154 (1987; Zbl 0618.51002)].
