Isomorphisms between endomorphism rings of free modules (Q1201638)

Let \(_ F M\) and \(_ G N\) be free modules over rings \(F\) and \(G\), respectively. The author is interested in conditions under which the rings \(\text{End}(_ F M)\) and \(\text{End}(_ G N)\) are isomorphic. Thus, for example, the author proves that \(_ F M\) and \(_ G N\) are semi-linearly isomorphic if and only if \(\text{End}(_ F M)\) and \(\text{End}(_ G N)\) are strictly isomorphic and provides a categorical description for isomorphisms between \(\text{End}(_ F M)\) and \(\text{End}(_ G N)\).
