Pointed generating cones in real solvable Lie algebras are considered which are invariant under the group of inner automorphisms of the algebra. Besides other things, in the book ``Lie groups, convex cones and semigroups'' by \textit{J. Hilgert}, \textit{K. H. Hofmann} and \textit{J. B. Lawson} (Oxford 1989; Zbl 0701.22001) the structure of the Lie algebras accommodating such cones is given as well as a construction principle for the cones. In the present note those Lie algebras and cones are written down explicitly. The cones are described by inequalities which are invariant under the group of inner automorphisms.
