The author considers, the control problems for the wave equation on Riemannian manifolds with compact boundary. The paper extends results of the paper of \textit{C. Bardos}, the author and \textit{J. Rauch}, ``Sharp sufficient conditions for the observation, control and stabilization of waves from the boundary'' to appear in SIAM and appendix to the book by \textit{J. L. Lions} [Contrôlabilité exacte, perturbations et stabilisation des systèmes distribués (1988; Zbl 0653.93002 and Zbl 0653.93003)]. The author gives a priori estimator on the space of controllable states within energy space.
