In an earlier paper [ibid 33, No. 1, 91-125 (1991; Zbl 0746.53006)] the author has considered convex hypersurfaces expanding under mean curvature flow. He notes that the proof of case (iii) of the Theorems 1.1 and 3.1 was incorrect and provides a correct proof.
