Summary: The theory of note I [ibid. 3, No. 2, 79-101 (1992; Zbl 0777.47012)] is applied to the boundary value problem of elastostatics when vanishing displacements are given on the boundary. The elastic coefficients are only supposed to be bounded and measurable. As a base problem the analogous boundary value problem for an isotropic homogeneous body is assumed. For this problem the Green operator and the Green matrix are explicitly constructed and their properties exhaustively studied, so that the theory of intermediate operators, as developed in note I, can be applied to the general case.
