The finite amalgamation bases within certain quasivarieties of \(p\)- semilattices are characterized and distinguished by two properties: (i) they do not admit subdirectly irreducible algebras from a certain finite list as homomorphic images, (ii) they have an essentially unique subdirect representation within the quasivariety under consideration.
