On a ``Quantum Chaos'' theorem of R. Schrader and M. Taylor (Q1207123)

Using the theory of ``fuzzy ladders'' introduced by \textit{V. Guillemin} and \textit{A. Uribe} [Bull. Am. Math. Soc., New Ser. 15, 222-224 (1986; Zbl 0626.58018)] and the theory of reductions of Hamiltonian systems with symmetry, the author extends results of \textit{R. Schrader} and \textit{M. Taylor} [J. Funct. Anal. 83, No. 2, 258-316 (1989; Zbl 0679.58046)] on the semi-classical asymptotics of eigenfunctions of a quantum Hamiltonian for a particle in a gauge field. These results have applications in the description of quantum chaos.
