Under certain assumptions the convergence of the discretized secant iterations is proved for a family of the discretized equations \(P_ h(x)= 0\), \(h>0\) \((*)\) of the nonlinear equation \(F(x)=0\) to a locally unique solution \(z^*_ h\) of the equation \((*)\) with corresponding estimates.
