The author has extended a spline function method approximating the solution of the partial differential equation \[ {\partial\over \partial r}\left({1\over r^ 3} {\partial u\over\partial r}\right)\;+\;{\partial\over \partial z}\left({1\over r^ 3} {\partial u\over \partial z}\right)\;=\;0 \] for an elastic circular cylindrical domain to more complicated domains (like right circular bottle).
